Tony Branham started his professional career in golf in 1982. As with most young professionals, his teaching started with the junior program and ladies clinics. He read teaching books to gain more knowledge like Jimmy Ballard`s “How To Perfect Your Golf Swing” and David Leadbetter`s “The Golf Swing”. In 1998, Tony went to work for The George Bryan Golf Academy which had an enrollment of 120 students. It is there that his confidence for teaching soared. In late 1999, Tony moved to Hilton Head and using his knowledge of the golf swing, qualified for the 2001 RBC Heritage Classic on the PGA Tour and two events on the Web.com Tour. He was the teaching professional at The Golf Club at Indigo Run in 2006. Tony joined the staff at Cobblestone Park GC in 2012.

Fred Wadsworth

Teaching Professional
Lifetime Member PGA Tour

Originally from Columbus, GA Fred played his college golf at The University of South Carolina from 1980-1984 where he was named an All-American. Fred was later inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame. After college Fred turned professional and won the PGA Tour’s 1986 Southern Open. He also won internationally defeating Tom Lehman and Ernie Els while capturing the 1989 South African Open. Fred has competed in The Masters, 3 U.S. Opens and the PGA Championship along with The Senior British Open. Fred has learned the game from some of golf’s most renowned instructors including Gardner Dickinson, David Ledbetter, Mike Adams and Hank Smith. Upon retiring from competitive golf, Fred has been the Head Golf Professional at Star Fort Golf Club, and is currently the Head Golf Coach at Hammond School for the men and women’s programs.  Fred is available for instruction at all levels including clinics and individual lessons.
