For the eleventh year in a row, Brian Clary will be directing the amenities center and the tennis programs at Cobblestone Park. Brian has been the Recreation Manager/Director of Tennis since the amenities center opened in May of 2007. He is a USPTA Certified P-1 tennis instructor and has been teaching tennis for over 20 years. Prior to coming to Cobblestone Park, Brian spent 5 years as the Director of Tennis at the River Run Club in Naperville, IL just outside of Chicago and 8 years as the Regional Supervisor for a Tennis Management company in Northern Virginia. While in Virginia, he served as the USPTA Virginia State president for two years and as the chair of the junior committee. Brian believes first and foremost that students should have a fun learning experience. “We want to create a lifelong tennis player and their decision to continue to play will be primarily based on whether they enjoy their time on the court. His teaching philosophy is based on that fact.” However, he also believes that students owe it to themselves to be the best they can be both on and off the court. Brian is extremely excited about the upcoming season and looks forward to seeing you on the courts and at the amenities center! Please see him for any of your recreational needs at the club.
